Learn about Lee & Partners' terms of service in the logistics field, which clearly define the rights, responsibilities, and conditions for using their services

1. Weight and Volume Regulations

Minimum Charge: A minimum charge of 0.5 m³ applies per shipment. Shipments under 0.5 m³ will be rounded up to 0.5 m³. For goods calculated by weight, the minimum is 10 kg.

Conversion Limit: The maximum conversion rate is 300 kg/m³. Single shipments must not exceed 40 kg. An overload surcharge will apply for shipments exceeding this limit.

Data Confirmation: After goods are received, Lee & Partners will send a volume/weight confirmation slip. Customers are responsible for responding immediately if there are any complaints. After the specified time, the data on the slip will be considered agreed upon.

2. Warehousing and Storage Regulations

Goods Identification: Customers are required to affix a Shipping Mark before receiving goods into the warehouse. Textiles must be packed in woven polypropylene bags for safety.

Storage Fee: Free storage for 48 hours from the time the goods arrive at the warehouse. After this time, a storage fee of 2.5 Euro/m³/day will apply.

3. Declaration and Documentation Responsibility

Frankness: The shipper is fully responsible for the accuracy of the declaration (name of goods, value, quantity). Lee & Partners is not responsible and has the right to pursue compensation if goods are detained by customs due to fraudulent declaration, contraband, or lack of documentation.

CE Certificate: For items requiring a CE certificate according to EU regulations, the customer is obligated to provide all necessary documents. We are not responsible if goods are confiscated or refused customs clearance due to the lack of this certificate.

4. Compensation and Liability Policy

Maximum Compensation: In the event of loss due to shipping errors, the maximum compensation will not exceed 2.5 times the shipping cost of the goods in question.

Recommended Goods: We do not provide insurance or compensation for fragile goods, perishable food, goods with strong odors, or goods with short shelf lives. Any risks of breakage or deterioration during transportation are outside the scope of compensation.

Force Majeure: Lee & Partners is exempt from liability and will not refund in the following cases: Natural disasters, unscheduled customs inspections, international route disruptions, war, or other objective factors leading to delays or damage.

5. Payment

Shipping costs and related expenses must be paid in full on the day the customer picks up the goods (or before delivery) unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
